Parenting is like mathematics, you need to understand the fundamentals. There's no use of solving one particular problem for you. 

Well, many parents are coming up and asking me how to keep their kids busy, what's the solution of their boredom, how to maintain our own peace tackling kids 24x7 and many more similar ones. HOME ZONE is going to be a serial blog for parents when their kids are at home at length. 

I don't want to give you any ready made solutions for such questions, I want you to understand the fundamentals of parenting which will help you in taking your own decision and a customised one according to your own needs, family environment, practicality and situation. I want to empower you with the confidence and applicability so that you don't feel disabled or dependent in a situation that's similar but not the same. 

It's not an easy pill. I'll make you use your mind and be creative.....I don't believe in giving ready made solutions that are just short cuts. And Short cuts lead to no success in long term. 

The most luring thing to do and the easiest give in is to hand over the tiny little screen addivtive as cocain to the child, or simply turn on the idiot box (TV). And this is an absolute No No!!!
